This permanent position is for a Controller who will work in the Visalia, California region.Key responsibilities- Time monthly billing and other cash management techniques to make sure cash collection is punctual- Support Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, with research, planning, and implementation, as required- Perform tasks associated with month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations & G/L analysis- Occasionally perform duties beyond formal job responsibilities- Work closely with executive team and partners to facilitate efficient and effective firm-wide operation- Oversee the activities of the finance department, such as accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll- Present executive committee and partners with monthly financial reports- Analyze, apply and improve policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies- Manage the creation of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor them on a monthly basis- Ensure client satisfaction by reviewing deliverables of self and team- Handle daily cash management and produce cash-flow reports, calculating cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals
