This reputable Healthcare, Hospitals, Social Assistance company is seeking a Controller through Robert Half who has a knack for leading with high standards, positively motivating others, and making critical decisions and have experience taking charge of an accounting and clerical department. You will succeed in this position if you can plan and direct all accounting operational functions, handle the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, evaluate accounting and internal control systems, and lead departmental staff. To succeed in this role, you will need to lead with integrity and reliability and have the ability to manage self and others with urgency, practicality and accountability when providing client services. How you will make an impact

- Oversee the activities of the finance department, such as accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll

- Manage daily cash and prepare cash-flow reports, projecting cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals

- Drive the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques to ensure the timely cash collection

- Advance Finance Department initiatives, such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as needed, with research, planning and implementation

- Meet client expectations by reviewing deliverables of self and team to make sure they meet client satisfaction

- Capable of handling responsibilities beyond formal job duties

- Present monthly financial reports to executive committee and partners

- Manage monthly and annual close of income statement and balance sheet, the reconciliations of accounts, and G/L analysis

- Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts and monitor them monthly

- Work closely with executive team and partners to facilitate efficient and effective firm-wide operation

- Assess, execute and improve policies, procedures, controls and most methodologies
