We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Benefits Specialist with a minimum of 3 years in the field to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing ACA compliance, preparing for End-of-Year filing, managing benefit-related financial aspects, and ensuring accurate reporting. Additionally, the candidate should possess strong technical skills in handling various benefit systems, with a focus on HRIS, specifically UKG (UltiPro).Location: Emeryville, CA | Hybrid - 3 days onsiteDuration: 3 monthsTechnical Skills:• A Benefits professional of 3 years of experience to oversee ACA compliance and prepare for End-of-Year filing, ensuring adherence to regulations and accurate reporting.• Handle the processing of invoices related to benefits, demonstrating proficiency in managing financial aspects of benefit programs.• Review and approve life event changes while effectively managing leave of absence requests, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.• Manage the Benefits inbox, promptly addressing and following up on employee inquiries, and providing comprehensive support regarding benefits-related questions.• Conduct audits of Health Equity reports (direct bill, COBRA, Commuter) to ensure accuracy. Additionally, possess knowledge and experience in 401K administration to support employees and oversee compliance.Systems:• HRIS - UKG (UltiPro) - not a hard requirement
