There is an Accounts Receivable position with a noteworthy benefits package, open through Robert Half, at a dynamic organization. As the permanent Accounts Receivable Accountant, you will work in the Los Angeles, California region. This role's duties will require entering, posting and reconciling batches, researching and resolving customer A/R issues, preparing aging reports, placing billing and collection calls, maintaining cash receipts journal, and updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L.Key responsibilities- Ensure the mission, values, and culture of the organization are supported, conveyed and reinforced- Communicate with clients to settle payment issues and help create a payment plan- Post and balance financial data in various ledgers to reconcile bank accounts- Handle a range of basic accounting tasks using standard procedures- Manage monthly closings and annual reports, including handling payments and compiling segments in compliance with GAAP
