Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk on a quickly expanding team at a thriving company. The Accounts Payable Clerk will process expense reports, resolve A/P issues, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, process checks, and match, batch, and code invoices. An individual in this position will need a high aptitude for computer software, be mindful of details and a self motivator. This Accounts Payable Clerk role will be located in the Deerfield Beach, Florida area and will be a long-term contract position of 6 months, that could very well go longer. Your responsibilities in this role- Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies- Assist with internal and external audits as needed- Execute additional tasks as needed- Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents- Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners- Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it- Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling- Full-cycle A/P- Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks
