Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with specific expertise in areas such as account reconciliation, and data entry.

• Entry level role, 1-2 years of experience
• They are willing to train someone, so they have the ability to learn a lot working directly with a Sr. Accountant & the Controller
• Will raise them upon conversion to FTE
• Will back date start date before conversion so there is no lapse in benefits
• All they need is some general accounting and at least 1-2 years of decent AR/AP experience
• Position is on-site – starting in Pompano for a month or so, then going to Boca moving forward

Responsibilities:

- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables' data
- Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients' billing issues
- Generate financial reports detailing accounts receivable status

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or a similar role
- Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
- Proficiency in data entry and management
- Familiarity with journal entries and procedures
- Understanding of technical accounting terms and processes
- Experience with payroll management and knowledge of debits/credits
- Familiarity with tax regulations and accounting software is a plus
