Keep accounts maintained and organized as an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk in an industry-leading company on a short-term contract through Robert Half. Serving as the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. An individual in this position will need a high aptitude for computer software, be mindful of details and a self-motivator. This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity will be located in the Mount Kisco, New York area and will be a short-term contract position.How you will make an impact- Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents- Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling- Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed- Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department- Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis- Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners- Assist with internal and external audits as needed- Operate full-cycle A/P- Complete special projects on an as-needed basis
