The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for the following:

• Process invoices received from vendors.
• Verify accuracy and completeness of invoices, ensuring proper coding and documentation
• Obtain necessary approvals for invoices from property managers or designated personnel, following established approval workflows and documentation procedures.
• Monitor invoice approval status and track outstanding invoices, communicating with stakeholders to expedite approvals and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
• Process vendor payments in accordance with payment terms and company policies, generating checks, electronic payments, or initiating wire transfers as appropriate.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions with vendor statements and internal records, investigating and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals, reconciliations, and preparation of reports for financial analysis and audit purposes.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date electronic and physical records of invoices, payments, and related documentation, ensuring compliance with record retention policies.

Requirements for the Accounts Payable Clerk include:

• 2 years of accounts payable experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Real estate experience is preferred, but not required
• Yardi software experience is preferred, but not required
