We are offering an opportunity to join our team as an Accounts Payable Clerk, based in OAK BROOK, Illinois. In this role, you will be required to review and process invoices, conduct data entry, manage vendor relationships, and contribute to various accounting tasks. This role is essential to maintaining the financial health and efficiency of our organization.Responsibilities: • Review all incoming invoices for appropriate documentation and approval before payment• Match invoices to corresponding receiving, purchase order numbers, and packing slips• Code and verify account codes on invoices• Prepare weekly check register for all payable items and prepare files for bank processing• Update process documentation as needed for workflow reference materials when updates occur• Setup and manage new vendors• Respond to vendor inquiries and research discrepancies• Undertake special projects and other duties as required• Maintain communication with employees across various locations as well as vendors• Demonstrate a detail-oriented approach to all tasks while ensuring effective communication. Skills:• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices• Proficient in Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP.
