A successful Accounts Payable Clerk will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. This Accounts Payable Clerk role will be located in the Bloomfield Hills, Michigan area and will be a short-term contract / temporary to hire position.What you get to do every single day- Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department- Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily- Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs- Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling- Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed- Operate full-cycle A/P- Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents- Assist with internal and external audits as needed- Carry out additional projects as required
