Robert Half is currently working with a client looking for an Inventory Clerk. The Inventory Clerk will be responsible to keep track of goods and services and manage orders to facilitate sales or production. Inventory Clerk responsibilities will include signing off on shipments, counting the number of available products and placing orders for more inventory according to demand. This is the Inventory Clerk position for you if you are a detailed oriented inventory professional with excellent math and communication skills!What you get to do every single day- Classifying and counting items- Ensure physical counts and computer records match, calling out any discrepancies- Ordering inventory from vendors and suppliers and scheduling shipment arrival times- Collecting estimates and price details from vendors and then comparing costs- Spending time collaborating with the inventory analyst and purchasing manager- Catalog and stock products to manage inventory- Handling all inconsistencies in documents- Entering data into the system
