Robert Half is seeking an experienced General Ledger Accountant for a short-term clean-up project. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the financial records of our company by accurately recording the day to day financial transactions in line with the appropriate legislation and company policies.Responsibilities:1. Maintain and manage general ledger accounting functions including accounts payable & accounts receivable.2. Reconciliation of company's financial accounts promptly and accurately.3. Review invoices and billings, make general ledger postings, and prepare relevant reports.4. Liaise with other departments to resolve account discrepancies.5. Identify inefficiencies and improvement in the accounts system.6. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all financial data.7. Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.8. Utilize Quickbooks Online for data processing and financial management.Qualifications:1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.2. Proven experience as a General Ledger Accountant.3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.4. Working experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and account reconciliation.5. Proficient with accounting software, preferably QuickBooks Online.6. Excellent problem-solving ability and high attention to detail.7. Strong written and verbal communication skills.8. Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and work under pressure.
