Accounts Payable Coordinator - Mira Loma, CA
This position involves performing accounts payable tasks under the Accounts Payable Supervisor's guidance. The main responsibility is to process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, adhering to policies and ensuring timely payments. Duties include matching invoices with receipts, identifying discrepancies, scheduling vendor payments, processing expense reports, maintaining files, and participating in month-end tasks. Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills are required, along with proficiency in Excel. A degree in Accounting/Finance is preferred but not required, with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
Duties:

• Analyze and process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests
• Perform data entry and ensure accuracy of financial records
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including general ledger reconciliation
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices
• Maintain vendor files and respond to vendor inquiries
• Assist with benefits administration and payroll management as needed
• Support the human resources department with various tasks
• Provide assistance with technical accounting and governmental accounting tasks

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record keeping
• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with accounts receivable is a plus
