Job Title: IT Business Analyst
Location: Gardena, CA
Description:
The IT Business Analyst will serve as a liaison between IT and operational departments, focusing on documenting and analyzing requirements for the companys ERP system, other applications, and business intelligence platforms. This role aims to enhance business processes, data quality, and the efficient delivery of new system functionalities, reports, and data analytics.
Responsibilities:
  • Create, review, and refine requirements for business processes, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Document existing business processes and procedures.
  • Develop data dictionaries and high-level data models.
  • Participate in meeting objectives and facilitate meetings as needed.
  • Develop and execute test plans with system analysts and developers.
  • Communicate necessary changes to the development team.
  • Assist in staff training on new system functionalities.
  • Provide project management support.
  • Willingness to travel to Tijuana, Mexico, for business purposes.
Required Capabilities:
  • Understand organizational business issues and data challenges across all levels and functions.
  • Communicate ideas effectively verbally.
  • Possess a working understanding of application and database design.
  • Comprehend high-level system interfacing.
  • Propose practical solutions to problems, considering timeliness and effectiveness.

Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, MIS, or related field (preferred).
  • 4 years of proven experience in a business analyst role.
  • Experience in analyzing, implementing, and evaluating business applications.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Visio, and business intelligence tools like Power BI.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Kanban project management methodologies.
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000.00 per year
