We are looking for a reliable, passionate and detail-oriented personal assistant to join our team! We are looking someone to service our clients in the Summerlin (89134) area. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and hard-working. This person will be caring for a busy young adult woman with a spinal cord injury, who is on the go, so a sense of urgency and attention to detail are essential.
You will assist with all daily living activities such as feeding, bathing, dressing, and grooming. This position is an excellent experience for anyone looking to get into the medical field!
Available shifts available are:
- Monday-Sunday from 7pm-11pm
On-the-job training will be provided.
Caregiver Qualifications/Skills:
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Creating a safe, effective environment
- Quick problem-solving skills
- Experience with taking care of individuals with limited or no mobility
- Experience with Hoyer lift or manual transfers
- Bedside manner
- Meal preparation
- Listening, analyzing information, and focusing on quality
- Physical ability to reach with hands and arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and lift up to 50 lbs. while avoiding potential injury from transferring, repositioning, or lifting residents
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be willing to get CPR certification, TB shot, and Personal Care certifications through personal care assistance company used by the client.
- Minimum 1 year(s) professional or personal experience supporting individuals with disabilities, mental illnesses, or challenging behaviors
- Must have a driver’s license.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
