Role Overview:

This role involves developing creative graphics and artwork across diverse product categories including desk & stationery, gift, home decor, accessories, and collaborative partnerships. Reporting to the Design Director - Product, this position encompasses developing new designs and reimagining art on products while ensuring adherence to brand standards, market trends, and product strategies. Responsibilities range from the initial concept to the hand-off stage for pre-press production. They will collaborate closely with the other Product Design team members, requiring forward-thinking, organizational skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Generate innovative and reflective ideas aligned with the Rifle Paper Co. brand identity

• Create new designs and reimagine existing artwork and prints across multiple formats

• Engage in conceptualizing product lines, conducting effective research, and presenting concepts

• Uphold product quality, aligning with brand standards, market trends, and strategic objectives

• Aid the Senior. Designer in concept or new design development as required

• Generate files ensuring adherence to design intentions and efficient printing

• Output color proofs

• Contribute creative and innovative ideas aligning with Rifle Paper Co. Brand

Qualifications

Skills & Requirements:

• 5-7 years of graphic design experience

• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

• Strong conceptualization, sketching, and ideation skills with an exceptional eye for color, print, typography, composition, layout, and overall graphic design

• Highly detail-oriented and motivated by the slightest details of color, layout, and print

• Effective interpersonal skills demonstrated through written and verbal communication; displaying directness, kindness, and thoughtfulness in interactions

• Ability to assimilate and apply feedback and direction to cater to category needs

• Graphic illustration or painting/sketching skills are a strong plus, not mandatory

• Strong time management and organizational skills; proven ability to meet deadlines
