About The Role

 The Key Accounts and OEM Manager is responsible for managing relationships with our key retail and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) accounts. The Key Accounts and OEM Manager is a strategic thinker with excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. You are customer-centric, with a deep understanding of our customers' needs and preferences. The Key Accounts and OEM Manager is innovative, with a passion for finding new and creative solutions to complex problems. They are committed to personal and professional development, always striving to learn and grow in their role. Finally, you will need to be collaborative, and able to work effectively with others to achieve common goals. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account growth plans for each key retail and OEM account to ensure sales growth and profitability.
  • Create joint promotional and marketing plans and have in place an activities calendar to track key objectives.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within the accounts.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction, identify new business opportunities, and address any issues or concerns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure the successful implementation of account plans and initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify potential opportunities and threats.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms of sale with key accounts to maximize sales revenue and profitability.
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and reports to key accounts and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage and forecast sales pipeline and achieve sales targets.

Requirements

  •  Bachelor's degree in business, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in key account management, preferably in the big box retail and OEM sectors. 
  • Proven track record of successfully managing key accounts and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
