Revvity Omics, a division of Revvity, is a clinical molecular and biochemical laboratory offering a variety of different screening and diagnostic testing options. From prenatal screening before birth to newborn screening shortly after birth and whole genome sequencing through one's lifetime. Our goal is to provide valuable and insightful information about potential underlying genetic conditions, guiding patients and providers to improved health outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Our team is seeking a Data Entry Associate to join us in our efforts to serve patients and families around the world. As the Data Entry Associate you will:

• Performs duties associated with the entry of demographic information into the laboratory information system.
• Enters alpha-numeric data from sample requisitions into LIS following format displayed on entry screen.
• Compares data entered with information on sample requisitions and re-enters data if necessary.
• Coordinates paperwork and various required reports for high risk patients in the applicable departments.
• Run reports at closing to resolve problems relating to: specimens collected at <24 hours, specimens lacking birth date and/or collection date, specimens with missing PA physician information.
• Follows prescribed steps to verify miscellaneous submitter identity and billing information.
• Other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor of Client Services.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED
• 0-1 years of data entry experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 0-1 year of clinical laboratory experience.

• Schedule isTuesday through Saturday, 8am to 4:30pm.
• Office environment.
• Employee may be required to work shifts other than daylight depending on the needs of the laboratory.
• Weekend rotation may be required.
• Travel is not required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use a keyboard, type, and occasionally stand and move to other parts of the lab.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
