Position Responsibilities:
- Receive and check-in ordered medications, package and mail out, and distribute in-office patient medication pick-ups
- Greet patients and properly check them in and out
- Learn the EMR Clinic System and maintain and update patient records
- Process, handle and deposit cash, check and card payments
- Communicate lab test results and physician’s recommendations to patients
- Manage incoming and outgoing telephone calls and E-mails
- Work with the team to ensure smooth flow of operation
- Process and handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Medical Receptionist, Medical terminology, Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, or Lab Tech Certification
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently
- Customer serviceProblem-solving skills
- Phone skills
- Proficiency in computer/tablet use and typing
- Flexibility to occasional added or altered hours as needed to meet the practice needs.
