Our office serves veterans and performs medical evaluations and annual physicals. We are seeking an individual who has a good grasp of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, to identify relevant diagnoses and treatment records from a PDF medical record. The researcher must be familiar with physician documentation, formats of reports, and be able to choose search terms associated with various medical conditions. This is a full-time position, mainly remote, however Ideally the candidate will be available to provide Medical Assistant coverage in the office on Fridays and back up coverage in our Murray, UT office for vacations and illness. The applicant must have expert medical terminology knowledge, a flexible schedule, typing and computer abilities, outstanding communication skills, and have a home computer with two monitors as well as a speedy internet connection. You may be a good candidate if you have experience as a medical assistant, scribe, or coder, as a claims examiner, or in other positions in which you have developed an understanding of medical conditions and related diagnostics and treatment.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
