Our office serves veterans and performs medical evaluations and annual physicals. We are seeking an individual who has a good grasp of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, to identify relevant diagnoses and treatment records from a PDF medical record. The researcher must be familiar with typical physician documentation, formats of reports, and be able to choose search terms associated with various medical conditions.
This is a full-time position working from home abstracting relevant sections from a medical record into a summary report for clincians. Ideally the candidate will be unencumbered and available to provide Medical Assistant back up coverage in our local office for illness and vacations. The applicant must have exceptional medical terminology knowledge, typing and computer abilities, and have a home computer with two monitors as well as a speedy internet connection.

Requirements:
* Medical terminology associated with various medical conditions
* Blood draw and injection skills preferred
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Computer skills
* Proficiency using cloud storage, such as Google Drive. Google email, physician office software
* Ability to multi-task
* Pleasant, team player, considerate of others
* Dependable and on-time
* Self starter with good work ethics
