MISSIONS AND OPERATIONS DIRECTOR JOB DESCRIPTION

FULL TIME POSITION

(40-45 hours per week)

Renovation Church is a fast-growing community that is passionate following Jesus and helping others do the same. We recently moved into a brand new 45,000 square foot church building, and since moving our church has grown in attendance from 500 to 1600 people over the past three years. We are looking to hire a Missions and Operations Director to oversee our growing missions, local outreach, and building maintenance. We are looking for a gifted leader who is passionate about missions, sharing the Gospel, and helping those in need in our local community. RESPONSIBILITIES

Establish Vision and Leadership for Global Mission Initiatives for Renovation Church

• Develop an attainable vision for Renovation Church’s involvement in global missions

• Create systems and lead change so the set vision is met

• Find and maintain global mission partnerships

• Oversee church mission trips from recruitment, training, leading the trip, and team debriefing

• Recruit and send Renovation Church members into long-term global mission work

• Maintain relationships and shepherding support for global missionary partners

Establish Vision and Leadership for Local Outreach Initiatives for Renovation Church

• Oversee current local outreach initiatives and activate changes to increase engagement for local church members

• Find and develop partnerships with other local outreach ministries

• Recruit and oversee volunteer Ministry Leaders for every local outreach partner

Oversee Renovation Church’s Building

• Oversee all custodial staff in regards to holding them accountable for job responsibilities, and also to better develop personal leadership.

• Take action steps necessary to maintain building operations as needs arise (such as hiring contractors when something breaks, etc.)

• Contract snow removal and lawn maintenance companies for the property.

• Ensure work is completed at the proper times to maintain the site.

Report Directly to the Executive Director

• Meet regularly with the Executive Director to report strengths and weaknesses of the ministry, to be held accountable for job responsibilities, and also to better develop personal leadership.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 per year
