NOW HIRING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS - 1st Shift
Renold Morristown is now hiring for 1st Shift Maintenance Technician to support the equipment and facility by identifying hazards, risks and maintaining a high degree of safety while performing basic maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on industrial metal working equipment and facilities. Support hazard and risk assessments in assigned zone area and during machine commissioning.
Qualified Candidates:
- Have a strong knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Can read measuring equipment and/or blueprints
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3 years experience in Industrial Maintenance or technical certification or degree 1 year experience in Industrial Maintenance
- Strong problem solving skills
- Basic understanding of PLC troubleshooting
- Read and interpret documents such as LOTO procedures, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints and equipment manuals.
- Communicate repair status and recommendations
- Analyze problems on complex equipment using manuals and test equipment such as volt meters, amp probes and measuring/indicator equipment
- Experience diagnosing and repairing pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical functions
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
