Kawasaki Tennessee, Inc. is currently accepting resumes for a Multi-Craft Maintenance Position in our Aluminum Die Casting facility.

Position Summary:

• Perform general maintenance service, repairs and troubleshooting.
• Perform maintenance on die casting, machining and robotic equipment as needed.
• Knowledgeable in procedures and safety measures of designated areas of responsibility.
• Perform regular equipment audits in support of safety initiatives.
• Supports continuous improvement initiatives.
• Complies with all TS systems.

Minimum Position Requirements:

• Completion of vocational training courses / formal maintenance apprenticeship program required.

or

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication and electrical.

· Solid work history and willingness to successfully function in a team environment.

• Basic math skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel.
• Ability and willingness to work any shifts.
• Candidate must successfully complete maintenance skills test and interview process.
• Must successfully complete post offer drug screen/physical and comply with Company TN Drug Free Workplace Standards.
• Salary commensurate with experience/background.

Physical Requirements:

· Frequent walking, sitting, standing, squatting, climbing, lifting and bending.

· Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently throughout a shift.

· Must have good responses and be alert at all times.

· Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

· Employee is regularly exposed to equipment with moving mechanical parts.

· Employee will be exposed to a aluminum foundry enviornment and electrical equipment.

· The working environment is hot and requires working near molten aluminum and very hot surfaces.

· Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment must be worn in the proper manner at all times.

· The noise level is usually moderate to loud and hearing protection is required.

· Eye protection and Safety shoes are required.
