Description:

• Daily, receives assigned work orders to complete on equipment.
• Performs scheduled PMs and visually inspects and test machinery and equipment for proper functionality.
• May be required to requisition parts as needed.
• Performs repairs on production machines and/or equipment when a malfunction is detected. May discuss machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems and repair the machine.
• Carry out diagnosis and correct or replace malfunctioning electronic units.
• Carry out diagnosis and ensure replacement of pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic components of equipment and machines.
• Performs machine installations/moves and building maintenance task as needed under supervision of a Maintenance Technician.
• Assist workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
• Ensures a high level of safety is always adhered to on and off the production floor.
• Follow Plant specified job specification and task list.
• Must promote teamwork by assisting in all areas as needs arise or as directed.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School/GED required

• Completing priorities with deadlines
• Frequently standing, walking, and occasionally sitting. Regularly exposed to humid conditions (non-weather), working near moving mechanical parts, and working around airborne particles
• Frequently exposed to loud, hot, and humid conditions
• Lifting/carrying/moving up to 50 pounds
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Maintenance
