Regular (www.regular.nyc) is an Australian lifestyle cafe serving specialty coffee, breakfast, brunch and lunch.

Our background in cafes, specialty coffee and the hospitality industry spans 20 years. Our journey began in Sydney, Australia, where we owned and operated multiple cafes before venturing to NYC.

Our establishments have always brought community together and emphasized high-quality coffee, food, service, and ambiance.

In short, we’re all about good stuff, good people and good vibes, and we are looking to add experienced baristas/cashiers to our dynamic team!

We are looking for someone to:

• Be responsible for made-to-order coffee drinks and running of the bar
• Be accountable for adhering to opening and closing checklists, as well as maintaining and cleaning coffee makers and grinders following specified procedures
• Receive training to ensure your skills meet Regular's high service and beverage standards
• Collaborate with team members to handle busy register and keep track of orders, maintaining accurate tabs on tables’ orders using point of sale system
• Keep cash drawer balanced throughout shifts
• Assist in bringing orders to tables and other various roles when necessary
• Learn and grow with us and our team

• Bunn ICB Twin Brewer

About you:

• You have an interest in working with coffee and wish to take your skills to the next level (coffee nerds of all levels welcome)
• You have a minimum of 1 year barista experience
• You have a minimum of 1 year service experience
• You have a basic understanding of espresso extraction and espresso based drinks
• You are familiar with coffee terminology
• You can do basic latte art
• You are willing to learn and improve your barista skills
• You have a positive ‘can do' attitude
• You are able to work as part of a team
• You enjoy working in the service industry
• You are punctual and reliable
• You thrive under pressure
