Financial Analyst (not remote)
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of working experience as a Finance Analyst
- High proficiency in financial modeling techniques
- Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
- Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills
- BS degree in Finance, Economics or related field
- Strong analytical and data gathering skills
- Financial Institution experience is a plus
- Good business acumen
- Real Estate / Property Management a plus
- Bilingual / fluent in English and Spanish required
Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
- Report on Financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
- Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
- Provide support in debt management, bank requirements, covenant reporting, etc.
- Perform financial forecasting, reporting (income statement, cash flows, balance sheet) and operational metrics tracking
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
- Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
- Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
- Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models
