• Responsible for preparing and creating monthly financial reports for presentation at the monthly Board of Directors meetings.
• Prepares and analyzes budget vs actual variances. Investigates and notates any discrepancies and advises other departments to make necessary corrections.
• Communicate findings and recommendation on financial report analysis
• Perform business cases and financial models.
  • Update and track business cases for strategic initiatives
• Responsible for preparing and analyzing the monthly provisions
• Assist in expense management vs budget for accuracy and allocation
• Update reports sent to the Bank’s Affiliates
• Evaluate financial data and update queries
• Update monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reports (ie., Census, BEA, Qualified Public Depositor (QPD))
• Perform ad hoc reports and presentations
• Performs other functions and/or duties as assigned
• Study business and economic trends and stay updated with industry regulations
• Responsible for completing annual training program assigned.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
• Experience: Three (3) years of experience in the Banking industry or in Finance.
• Advance computer skills including but not limited to proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
• Bilingual in both English and Spanish a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multi-task, with strong organization, time-management and prioritizing skills.
• Strong customer service skills, ensuring satisfaction of internal customers.
• Intermediate knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, and financial reporting related functions.
• Intermediate knowledge of related State and Federal banking compliance regulations and operational policies.
• Ability to understand and comprehend instructions, procedures and policies ensuring compliance with the Bank’s policies and procedures.
• Problem solving and analytical skills in order to identify problems.
