Regard is Hiring a VP Sales Near New York, NY

As Vice President of Sales at Regard, you will be central to driving our revenue growth and market expansion. Reporting to the COO, you will be formulating and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with our organizational goals. Your leadership will encompass managing the sales team, guiding all aspects of sales from lead generation to deal closure, and fostering strong client relationships. 

The ideal candidate has demonstrated consistent top sales performance at a rapidly growing Health Information Tech (HIT) SaaS company and will have existing Executive relationships within health system across key stakeholders including Finance, Revenue Cycle, and/or Clinical Documentation/Coding teams, as well as relationships with industry associations. In collaboration with other leadership members, you'll ensure that sales strategies are integrated with Regard's broader objectives. With a focus on both strategic oversight and hands-on involvement in key deals, you will be instrumental in steering Regard's growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Hire and manage the sales team including field sales and associates
  • Run weekly sales meetings to ensure team alignment and help unblock deals
  • Oversee deal pipeline & forecasting in collaboration with RevOps
  • Partner with leadership to set and achieve annual & quarterly revenue targets
  • Manage prospects & opportunities from lead to close
  • Travel on-site with sales team members to help support late stage opportunities
  • Continuously deepen your & your team’s understanding of the landscape, Regard’s product, and new releases
  • Consistently build strong client relationships
  • Work with Customer Success teams to support client launches
  • Oversee the sales team budget and territory management
  • Develop, test & implement sales strategies to accelerate sales motion & team success
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience selling 7-figure SaaS contracts to health system C-Suite as multi-stakeholder deals
  • 2 years experience as a leader in a venture-backed startup (Seed, Series A or B)
  • 5 years of experience managing a team of 5 or more
  • 5 years of field sales experience
  • Existing relationships with health system executives C-Suite including CFO/VP Rev Cycle, and VP of Documentation
  • Willing to travel 30% for on-site sales efforts and team co-working weeks

$180,000 - $200,000 a year
At Regard, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your skills, qualifications, location, and experience. We expect the base salary range for this position to be $180,000 to $200,000 commission equity. This is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
