Role Description
BVH has a need for an attorney to join its Chicago office. 3-6 years of insurance defense (or other civil defense) litigation experience is required. Indiana and/or Wisconsin licensure is a plus.
The ideal candidate will have had significant exposure to civil defense litigation, including depositions of parties, witnesses, and medical providers, preparing discovery responses and dispositive motions, and interacting with experts. The candidate must possess the ability to analyze and develop a strategy for the direction of a case in conjunction with the assigned partner and execute that game plan. Most importantly, the ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a desire to work toward autonomy and significant matter responsibility. This is an ideal position for a candidate who wants to hone and develop their skills in an environment that promotes growth and independence while also providing partner oversight and mentoring.
