Description
Mid-size Chicago-based Insurance Defense firm has an immediate opening for an Attorney in its Chicago office to handle local and national accounts. Admission to practice in Washington is required. Secondary admission in Illinois and Oregon preferred. Our Chicago office expertise is diverse, but focused in the areas of toxic tort, product liability, sex abuse matters, insurance coverage, trucking law, real estate and construction. We approach litigation as a team, offering a level of customer service, flexibility and responsiveness not often found in larger firms. This position is best suited for someone with 5 years of litigation experience (lateral partner, of counsel, or senior associate).
This is an active position that requires case management skills, precision in legal writing, and a professional demeanor at depositions and court hearings in multiple jurisdictions. Candidates must be hard-working, motivated, and capable of independent work. Candidate must also have excellent analytical and critical reasoning skills, must possess the ability to think on their feet and respond strategically, and have a client focused mentality.
