Position Description

Join our passionate team as an Young Entrepreneurs Program Assistant Manager and play a crucial role in molding the futures of young entrepreneurs. You'll collaborate closely with our Program Manager, breathing life into innovative ideas and projects that not only amplify our program's impact but also secure its future.

We seek someone who is not only organized and detail-oriented but also brings creativity to the table, thrives on multitasking, and excels in communication. If you have a profound passion for empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs, particularly those from diverse and often overlooked communities, we're eager to meet you. We're on a mission to arm the next wave of entrepreneurs with the tools they need to succeed, and with your assistance, we can turn that vision into a reality.

What You’ll Do

  • Anchor program data management, monitoring performance metrics and keeping participant data current.
  • Design and deliver compelling presentations to various stakeholders, including executive staff, families, schools, and investors.
  • Spearhead the recruitment and selection of program participants, overseeing every step of this vital process.
  • Ensure the flawless execution of program logistics, from scheduling to venue coordination and everything in between.
  • Provide exceptional administrative support to our program staff and volunteers, keeping our operations efficient and effective.
  • Create and innovate program materials that engage and educate participants.
  • Organize memorable program events and activities that inspire and connect our young entrepreneurs.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed, all aimed at enhancing our program's offerings.

Who You Are & Experience You Bring

  • A Bachelor's degree in business, education, or a related field -OR- a minimum of two years of entrepreneurial experience.
  • You bring at least 3 years of experience in program coordination, ideally within a non-profit or social enterprise.
  • Your organizational and communication skills are unparalleled.
  • You're adept at managing data and generating meaningful reports.
  • You shine in a collaborative environment, working harmoniously with staff, volunteers, and participants.
  • Your problem-solving and decision-making skills are exceptional.
  • You're known for your meticulous attention to detail.
  • You're capable of managing multiple priorities and excel in a lively setting.
  • Tech-savvy, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace, ready for any challenge.

Work Location & Schedule

  • This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, mixing virtual and in-person interactions. The office is located at 10808 NE Halsey Street in Portland. Events are located throughout the Portland Metro area.
  • The schedule is flexible to meet office, event, and group facilitation needs which includes some work in the evenings and weekends.
