Job description

Build360, LLC, Construction (part of the RE360 family) is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician with a broad skill set for both residential and commercial maintenance to join our rental portfolio of 550 properties in the Southside Hilltop and surrounding neighborhoods.

Responsibilities:

• Perform property repairs and preventative maintenance, including but not limited to a variety of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry functions
• Follow schedule, keeping clear and constant communication with manager and coordinator.
• Interact and communicate with tenants in a professional & courteous manner
• Openly communicate with the team and supervisors if you are unsure how to approach a maintenance issue
• Critical thinking and problem solving is a must, Know when to audible on issues you need assistance with.

Skills & Requirements:

• Must be available for rotating on-call weekends and after hours emergencies
• Strong communication and listening skills accompanied by a fierce work ethic and the drive to get the job done in a timely manner
• Accountability and the willingness to receive constructive criticism
• Friendly and respectful customer service skills while interacting with tenants and neighbors
• Attention to detail for each property- thinking outside the box while effectively managing one’s time
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• A working cell phone and basic hand tools (More extensive tools provided)

Experience:

• Maintenance: 3 years (Required)
• While on-the-job training is provided, a successful candidate will have some range of experience in the following areas: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and framing/drywall.

Compensation:

• Forty hour/M-Th four day work weeks. Optional OT available
• $18.00 to $24.00/hour based on experience
