Execupay has been in the payroll industry for 50 years and continues to grow by using the latest technological features and customer service practices in order to gain and retain payroll clients. We are looking for a knowledgeable Payroll Specialist who will be the main point of contactand will process and manage client payrolls. A Payroll Specialist is able to use payroll software with accuracy, efficiency and can be trusted with sensitive information. They have excellent communication skills to interact with colleagues and executives. The goal is to ensure clients receive the correct payroll in a timely and consistent manner.

Responsibilities

• Gather and/or review information on hours worked for each client's employee(s)
• Utilize our software to calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc.
• Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc.
• Address issues and questions regarding payroll from clients
• Correspond with clients in a professional manner either on the phone or via email
• Manage client calendar, complete work in order to meet daily deadlines
• Available to work in-office Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm in a group setting

Requirements

• Proven experience in a payroll function
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
• Proficient in MS Office and good knowledge of relevant software, timekeeping systems, etc.
• Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality
• Outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent; BSc/BA in business, accounting or relevant field is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
