Radius Networks is Hiring a Customer Support Near Washington, DC

Radius Networks is looking for a Customer Support Representative to join the team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills for both internal company interaction and external customer interaction. Most importantly, the candidate will be an enthusiastic problem solver who can bring clarity and resolution to challenging situations.

Responsibilities will include

  • Handle customer and vendor support requests through email and phone support lines
  • Support on-call schedules during off-hours
  • Assist install vendors by analyzing hardware through remote access
  • Diagnose hardware and software faults and solve technical problems over the phone
  • Inform customers within agreed time limits on call-outs
  • Prioritize and manage multiple open installs and support requests at one time
  • Maintains rapport with vendors and customers by identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods and techniques, recommending process improvements
  • Document installation actions by completing reports, logs, and records
  • Diagnosing hardware and software faults and solve technical and applications problems, either over the phone or through email
  • Learn Radius system requirements, components and functionality, installation and support processes, and perform acceptance tests
  • Prepares daily upload to internal tracking systems

Requirements

  • Rotating shift work required
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Superior verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Self-starter, capable of working independently and proactively
  • Well-developed critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Must be highly proficient with Word, and Excel

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with software and hardware products
  • Technical background
  • Understanding and/or interest in the Internet of Things and Bluetooth technology
