We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Operations Manager to join our team.

This is an incredibly important position for R. House. The Assistant Operations Manager is responsible for leading the bussing team. They should ensure that R. House is clean and safe for guests to enjoy, that bussers are present and engaged during their shifts, that tenants have an on-the-ground point person to make suggestions for improvements, to be the eyes and ears of the space, and coordinate with all third-party contractors and vendors and make sure they are completing their work on-site.

The Assistant Floor Manager will work and report directly with the Operations Manager to collectively manage the daily operations of the Food Hall.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of R. House Operations, including:Presence during all your shifts as a manager/busser
• Ensure that R. House is open during agreed upon hoursEnsure compliance with all safety and sanitation protocols by employees, tenants, and guests.Ensure that signage and physical layout are up-to-dateCoordinate with all third-party vendors and contracts to make sure they complete their work onsite.Keeping regular pars of the equipment and supplies.
• Work with Operations Manager to manage the bussing team. This person is the connection between the bussing team and Operations Manager.Make sure all bussers are present for their shifts.
• Train team members and delegate one off tasks.Make in the moment staffing decisions based on the flow of business.Be the first point of contact for any questions or concerns.Enforce staffing policies.
• Fostering a positive, and hospitality-focused culture among the R. House family, from the servers, to chefs and cooks, to managers and bussers.
• Field all customer calls on house phone when on duty. Answer all voicemails and write notations in log book for Operations Manager.
• Coordinating repairs, maintenance, and upgrades to the building and market hall space including periodic maintenance and coordination with Operations Manager.Ensuring the physical building and all furniture, fixtures and equipment are looking good and in working condition at all times
• Keeping plants healthy and looking good
• Coordination with the Operations Manager to be on the same page as to when events are happening.
• Assist Private Events Manager with one off tasks in the Garage.

This Position will require nights and weekends due to the demands of the duties.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
