Quanta Search is Hiring a Product Manager Near Chicago, IL

Our client is a trading firm with over 30 years of experience, using advanced technology and skilled people to work in markets around the world. They're based in Chicago, but have offices across the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Asia. They trade in various asset types, such as Fixed Income, Equities, ETFs, Commodities, and FX.

As a Product Manager (based in Chicago), you will play a crucial role in technological initiatives and become an integral part of the dynamic organization. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced product management professional who is adept at managing product life cycle processes and coordinating cross-functional technical teams.

Your tasks will include:

  • Defining and communicating product strategy and roadmaps.
  • Keeping abreast of and following technical trends.
  • Acting as a technical product champion.
  • Capturing and prioritizing business requirements for new products and feature enhancements.
  • Managing the product life cycle up to deployment, including deadline management, stakeholder coordination, and reporting on KPIs throughout the process.
  • Managing beta and pilot programs for products and services.
  • Assisting in the collection of stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities to address the current state and drive necessary change.
  • Collaborating with the project management team to ensure milestones are met and stakeholders are kept informed.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience in building and managing relationships with technical leaders.
  • A proven track record of successfully introducing new technologies and services from inception to deployment.
  • An analytical mindset capable of operating in ambiguous situations and solving complex problems throughout the product roadmap.
  • The ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology and foresee and overcome obstacles.
  • A passion for guiding teams towards high performance and deep pride in delivering quality outputs that benefit users.
