QC Terme USA is Hiring a Spa Front Desk Receptionist (Bilingual) Near New York, NY

QC Terme is the leading Italian wellness provider, with 6 spas and 4 spa resorts worldwide. Nine of the spas are located in Italy, and the company opened the first spa outside of Italy in 2018 in Chamonix, France. Other international openings are under way, with the first in the US, on Governors Island in 2022.

QC Terme spas are experiential destination day spas that are typically fit-out in historical buildings but can be built from the ground up, in unique locations with beautiful views. The spas feature various forms of hydro therapeutic, thermal, and sense-stimulating pools that encompass about 30-35 experiences per spa.

QC NY are seeking passionate, sincere, Front Desk Receptionist, who are able to deliver fantastic customer experiences for our guests. Our beautiful NY Spa is located on Governors Island only 8 minutes by ferry. We offer free transport via ferry to the Island. We are offering full time, part time flexible schedules.

Job Summary:

The Front Desk Receptionist will greet and direct guests as they enter the Spa. This position will provide assistance to customers along with inquiries about Spa operations and policies, as well as perform various administrative duties. Must be fluent in English and Spanish

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Greets, checks in, and provides guest with all relevant information to ensure an amazing guest experience.
  • Makes and confirms reservations.
  • Compute payments for guest services and collect payments from guests.
  • Answer’s phone calls and provides customers with relevant information.
  • Responds immediately to guest inquiries regarding Spa features, services, and assistance. Responds to and handles guest issues and complaints. Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Manages flow from the front doors, efficiently helping Guests with needs and directing as needed.
  • Manages wait times and communicates information as needed to Guests, Team Members, and Managers.
  • Ensures overall guest satisfaction.
  • Notifies Manager of any Guest that is perceived to be unhappy.
  • Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company Team Members to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate that will be conducive to maximum Team Member morale, productivity and efficiency/effectiveness.
  • Assists other Team Members as needed or as business dictates.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • The ability to demonstrate exceptional Customer Service Skills.
  • Must be proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • Able to work long hours as sometimes required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as required including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service oriented manner.
  • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience or equivalent training required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
