We are seeking a highly skilled PMO Project Manager to join our team at DMAS (Department of Medical Assistance Services) Project Management Office. In this role, you will be responsible for providing agile project management support for the TPL (Third Party Liability) case management system and various PMO initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Full Project Lifecycle – Including planning, execution & controlling, reporting, and closeout for both Information Technology (IT) and Business projects.
- Oversight of Project Schedules and Budgets – Collaborate with executive management and business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure projects stay on track within allocated resources.
- Stakeholder Management – Effectively communicate with stakeholders, manage expectations, and incorporate changes directed by executive and senior management.
- Documentation and Reporting – Create presentations, dashboards, workflows, and user stories as necessary to support project needs.
- Vendor Management – Supervise vendors and monitor deliverables, promptly escalating any project issues as needed.
- Requirement Development and Testing – Manage or perform requirement development and execute testing of requirements as required.
- Risk and Issue Management – Identify and manage project risks and issues, keeping management informed and implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Experience managing stakeholders and leading project teams: Required 5 Years
- Advanced knowledge and experience in using MS Project: Required 5 Years
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel for data analysis and dashboard creation: Required 8 Years
- Experience leading Waterfall and Agile projects: Required 5 Years
- Advanced knowledge of MS Visio or workflow software: Required 2 Years
- Active PMP certification: Required 1 Year
- Experience working in the Medicaid or Managed Care Organizations: Highly Desired 1 Year
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $151,000.00 - $168,000.00 per year
