The Minnesota Department of Information Technology Services (MNIT), in collaboration with the Department of Corrections Minncor division, is seeking a full-time Epicor Technical Consultant. The consultant will be responsible for working on Epicor Kinetic, specifically focusing on managing business operations and financials within the ERP system. The goal is to review the current system setup, processes, procedures, and automation within Epicor Kinetic framework to ensure smooth financial operations, reporting, general ledger closure, and reconciliation with the SWIFT State of Minnesota’s General Ledger.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assume the role of project manager to lead, oversee, and coordinate activities for the successful implementation and completion of the new ERP system.
- Evaluate the current Epicor ERP setup, identify areas for improvement since go-live, and define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
- Coordinate and track the assessment of the current environment, including data, information, and site collections.
- Collaborate with agency stakeholders to verify the accuracy of critical data and coordinate reporting needs.
- Coordinate and track Epicor Issues Log and implement enhancements.
- Ensure thorough testing of data integrity, access controls, and functionality.
- Monitor the migration process to ensure data integrity and minimal downtime.
- Evaluate the success of the migration against defined success criteria and create a final project report.
- Provide knowledge transfer and training where necessary.
Desired Qualifications:
- 3 years of technical experience in Epicor Kinetic.
- Experience with the listed Epicor modules.
- Portfolio management experience.
- Critical thinking skills to analyze project requirements and make decisions resulting in high-quality project outputs.
- Ability to manage and mediate stakeholder requirements and input.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
