Description

Vortex Metal Manufacturing is searching for a Project Manager to join our team! The Project Manager willassist the Estimating Manager in providing management oversight for all phases of each project, including auditing jobs for accuracy and coordinating logistics, and material. The Project Manager will also assist with ensuring that specifications are being followed and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.

What You'll Do:

• Assist in the responsibilityfor the procurement, sale, and management of projects from inception to completion of the work.
• Learn how to develop a cost-effective plan and schedule for completion of projects following a logical pattern for utilization of resources.
• Track and control construction schedules and associated costs to achieve completion of project within time and monies allocated.
• Meet regularly with the Estimating Manager to monitor progress towards achieving established goals.
• Maintain a stream of communication with the Mechanical Contractor, Engineers, and Architects and all end users.

Qualifications
What You'll Bring:

• Experience in Manufacturing or HVAC/Sheet Metal/Mechanical trades is preferred but not required.
• Experience in Microsoft Project, Blue Beam, or Procore is preferred but not required.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to build and lead a team that effectively services customers and consistently delivers a high quality product.
• Superior customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to crawl, kneel, squat, and climb.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
