We are looking for a Warehouse Purchasing Clerk to assist with our procurement and inventory management operations. This position is responsible for assisting with purchasing activities, maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, processing purchase orders, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct data entry for inventory and purchasing information.
  • Assist with purchasing activities, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, and placing purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including stock counts, receipts, and withdrawals.
  • Monitor inventory levels and generate reports to identify stock shortages or excess inventory.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues related to shipments or orders.
  • Communicate with warehouse staff to coordinate receipt and storage of incoming materials.
  • Update inventory management system with accurate information on stock levels, receipts, and withdrawals.
  • Work closely with the Warehouse Manager on streamlining warehouse processes and procedures.

Qualifications


What You’ll Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a purchasing or inventory management role is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills and strong attention to detail are required.
  • Must be able to crawl, kneel, squat, and climb. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted. 
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
