Role Objectives: Pure Storage is in the midst of a transformative journey, striving to achieve our $5 billion target. As part of our ongoing commitment to channel growth, we are actively looking to recruit an experienced Senior Program Manager, Partner Enablement. This role will report to the sales enablement team at our Santa Clara headquarters. The decision to bring on board a Senior Program Manager, Partner Enablement is a strategic one, essential for bolstering support in our largest theater (AMER) and extending support to the EMEA and APJ theaters from our Santa Clara offices. This hiring initiative aligns seamlessly with the AMER GPO and commercial LoB, underscoring the significance of establishing local time zone support for seamless collaboration with each business group team.
Pure Storage is looking for a Staff Program Manager, Partner Enablement with a proven track record of success in supporting global partner account managers. In this influential role, you will act as a vital business collaborator, working closely with channel sales leadership to introduce initiatives that ignite interest and improve partner account manager sales skills within our global partner organization.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING...

Responsibilities:

  • Outline and detail the components of Pure's global partner enablement program and financial incentives aligned with the responsibilities of the Partner Account Manager role. 
  • Collaborate with various supporting partner business groups to define operational processes and critical dependencies crucial for the successful execution of global partner enablement initiatives. 
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, establish cross-functional teams, and oversee the execution of global partner account manager program launches.
  • Collaborate closely with Pure's partner marketing and branding teams to create and maintain all assets associated with partner account manager programs. This includes executing and managing the strategy for partner onboarding and enablement. 
  • Deploy and evaluate the effectiveness of the Pure partner account manager sales accreditation program. 
  • Engage in cross-functional collaboration to outline and implement ongoing education initiatives for global partner account managers, with the goal of enhancing partner self-sufficiency and sales productivity.
  • Oversee global partner enablement tools, such as the Pure partner sales portal, LMS, and partner support platform, ensuring consistency in assets, appearance, navigation, and user experience. 
  • Develop a comprehensive global onboarding plan for existing partner account managers transitioning to the new program. This involves conducting working sessions with executive channel sales teams, managing partner account manager communications, and providing hands-on support leading up to the program conversion.
  • Monitor and report on partner account manager productivity and program compliance metrics. Take the lead in crafting a quarterly dashboard to track partner engagement in Go-To-Market initiatives, sales productivity, enablement, and program compliance. 
  • Generate quarterly reports and deliver updates to channel sales leaders regarding partner account manager productivity. 
  • Provide support for partner account manager inquiries, ensuring timely responses to questions related to partnership, quoting, and sales support

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM...

  • 5 years experience in partner/channel sales enablement, with a proven track record of successfully developing and executing global partner programs
  • Deep expertise in partner incentive design, channel marketing tactics, sales accreditation programs, and onboarding best practices
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with multiple partner-facing groups to optimize processes and launch initiatives
  • Excellent project management skills and experience rolling out complex, global projects involving many interdependent components
  • Data-driven mindset with capability to analyze KPIs and productivity metrics, identify trends/opportunities, and clearly communicate recommendations via executive reports\
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field

-- The annual base salary range is: $141,000 – $212,000. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
