Pure Dance Works’ Mission
Pure Dance Works exists to preserve childhood innocence, nurture confident leadership, and impact children worldwide through delightful, discovery-filled programs that develop creative, technical, and responsible dancers.
We do this through progress-based dance training that is always pure. We strive to create a positive place for our staff and students. Our ultimate vision is to create a ripple effect that positively impacts children worldwide.
Purpose of Role
Pure Dance Works impacts over 300 students in weekly group classes and requires a Welcome Concierge to keep our front office in check and reliably complete behind-the-scenes tasks.
We are looking for an exceptional and committed professional willing to go above and beyond; you will handle administrative duties and shine a light into our family’s lives, providing an enchanting experience for everyone who enters the door.
This role aims to welcome our studio community wholeheartedly, actively seeking to delight staff and customers and working to retain them.
We are looking for someone responsible, extremely reliable, organized, with good leadership skills and experience, self-motivated, an outstanding communicator, and a dedicated team player. You will be working in a fast-paced environment.
You will support the CEO’s vision for the Company by ensuring the day-to-day running of the studio is on track and running smoothly, providing an excellent customer experience, and ensuring that staff, parents, and students have the supplies and information they need.

In this role, you will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer. You will associate with children and parents daily and support the teaching staff.

You will be responsible for maintaining an organized front desk area as well as the entire building. You will need to be able to change course and work quickly when curveballs are thrown your way to ensure the company is consistent in delivering.

You enjoy a challenge such as rearranging the class schedule in 20 minutes as a teacher has called in sick. You have an ability to prioritize and get things done. Details
Location: 12844 Coldwater Road, Suite D, Fort Wayne, IN 46845
Rate: TBD based on experience and performance. Based on a full-time minimum annual salary of approximately $31-40K ($15-20/hr). A ninety-day training rate will be 10% less than the expected normal hourly rate.
Type Of Work: Part-Time, 20-25 Hrs/Week
Start: Immediately for training. Independent work to begin in July.
Training hours TBD jointly during our class times and when the studio is empty. Class hours are Monday-Thursday evenings, Wednesday and Saturday mornings.
July 9-31: Tuesday and Wednesday mornings and evenings; other hours TBD jointly.
August 12: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursdays approx 3:30-9:00 PM (Varies slightly by day, Saturdays 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM, Office Hours: A set time weekly, TBD jointly.
Summary
Pure Dance Works is growing and has many projects on the go and in the pipeline, all while we run multiple regular programs. We’re looking for a long-term team member to grow with us and create growth within the company. The role is part-time, but can move to more hours with the right person. Growth opportunities are available depending on performance and results.
To be a successful applicant, experience with technology, exceptional customer service, meticulous attention to your work and surroundings, organization, self-motivation, multi-tasking, and excellent time management skills are essential. This role includes on-the-floor admin/reception/sales work at the front desk. An Arts Management degree would be a plus.
