PUEBLO is Hiring a Compensation Analyst Near Phoenix, AZ

JOB TITLE: COMPENSATION ANALYST
REPORTS TO: HEAD OF COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Job Summary: Responsible for the management of compensation and compensation-related projects in the organization including the analysis, evaluation and implementation of compensation initiatives.
Job Duties:
  • Responsible for creating, reviewing and updating job descriptions
  • Perform job matching and other compensation analysis
  • Provide analytical support for compensation processes and initiatives including the annual salary increase and annual bonus process
  • Complete salary surveys, analyze results and propose any changes to compensation policies based on market position
  • Perform job evaluations
  • Propose changes to compensation policies and oversee their implementation
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations which impact compensation plans and policies, such as the Equal Pay Act, and job classification, such as the FLSA
Experience and Education:
  • Has 3-5 years of experience in analysis, design, and/or administration of compensation programs
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification is a plus
  • Knowledge of the Construction and/or General Contracting industry is a plus
Competencies:
  • Experience in complex compensation analysis
  • Knowledge of human resources compensation practices and strategies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong proficiency in Excel
  • Proficient in Power Point
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Customer service mentality
