Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Talent Development, Senior Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our talent strategy, focusing on various aspects of the performance management lifecycle, and development planning, including but not limited to, talent review, succession planning, mentor program, career frameworks, leadership behaviors, executive coaching, 360 reviews and contributing as a thought leader in the talent management space.

The qualified candidate brings demonstrated experience to architect talent development and performance management processes across the enterprise. This individual will be responsible for driving process improvement within a fast-paced environment, tracking metrics, reporting, and demonstrating business impact of talent initiatives. 

Responsibilities:

Identifies key organizational capability requirements and integrates them into short and long-term Development strategies that are aligned with the overall organizational strategy.

  • Architect end-to-end program design and development for business-specific and enterprise talent management solutions to ensure programs support our culture and organizational objectives. 
  • Lead the performance management lifecycle, including goal setting, performance evaluations, feedback mechanisms and quarterly career conversations to align to PTC culture and pay for performance philosophy
  • Build and support the talent review and succession management processes and consult on ongoing development and planning efforts
  • Partner with HR Business Partners to ensure effective execution, aggregate and analyze results to understand performance themes and outcomes 
  • Create the business requirements to leverage technology solutions that simplify and enable performance outcomes 
  • Serve as an advisor to managers on talent development and performance management processes and strategy
  • Establish and maintain a robust career framework that aligns with the organizational goals and individual aspirations, partnering closely with our HR Business Partners, Compensation and business
  • Design and oversee mentorship programs to foster employee growth, knowledge sharing and career advancement opportunities
  • In partnership with PTC leaders, defined leadership behaviors and competencies necessary for success at various levels within the organization.
  • Provide development solutions to enhance capabilities to drive organizational effectiveness; including executive coaching, 360-degree feedback, high-potential programs, etc.
  • Act as a thought leader in the filed of talent management, staying abreast of industry trends and best practices and providing guidance to internal stakeholders
  • Utilize consulting methodology to diagnose talent management needs, develop tailored solutions and drive implementation efforts
  • Partner closely with HRBPs and COEs (ERG’s, People Solutions, Talent Development, Internal Communications, People Analytics and Total Rewards) to identify opportunities for integration points and address specific talent needs leveraging talent data and themes 
  • Enable HRBPs and managers on talent development and performance management programs to drive application in the business 

Skills, Experience and Knowledge:

  • Experience in performance management systems (Workday). Partner with the Technology team to build requirements, test, and enable end users
  • Demonstrated ability to create strategies, practical approaches, activities, and measure to drive and sustain behavior change 
  • High degree of ownership and possess a strong business acumen, excellent communications skills with the ability to create a story using data and research combined with strong planning/project management skills. 
  • Deep knowledge of HRBP practices including performance management, organizational change. HRBP experience is a plus. 
  • Solutions-focused, empathetic, collaborative and consultative approach to implementing and improving people programs and processes to support the business. 
  • Ability to Project and Program management
  • A creative thinker that develops solutions focused on the future of work and dynamic needs of PTC’s culture and its people 
  • Develops and tracks talent development and performance management metrics 
  • Certification in talent management or executive coaching (SHRM- SCP, ICF) is a plus

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years of experience in the talent management and learning and development space with a strong focus in organizational development. 
  • Bachelors of Arts and Science; Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development or related field. Master’s degree preferred (MBA, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field preferred) 
  • Extensive experience an program design and implementation
