The Project Manager will work as a member of the Trading Operations & Technology team in North America providing day to day direction and leadership across a portfolio of projects, spanning both Business and IT. The candidate will be expected to interface with various groups within company and manage projects from inception to completion and be an integral part of the implementation.
Further responsibilities may include:
Own and steer projects ranging from small initiatives to large/complex.
Utilize Agile and Waterfall methodologies where appropriate.
Analyze requirements and data from various groups within the company and transform into improved solutions
Plan, organize, and structure projects to ensure successful implementation
Prepare cost estimates and project timelines for completing recommended solutions
Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Own technical approach, plan and delivery for changes of all sizes
Actively report project stat progress, variances, and escalate when necessary
Play a key role in building a partnership with the business and key stakeholders
Bachelor s or equivalent degree or higher
PMP, Prince2, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent is desired
Proven experience leading projects and teams
Ability to structure and implement projects
Experience in the Energy Trading industry
Experience working with Trading technologies
Experience with developing, forecasting and working within budgets
Strong collaboration and influencing skill and the ability to deal with ambiguity and change
Ability to communicate complex and technical issues to diverse audiences, orally and in writing, in an easily understood, authoritative and actionable manner
Good communication skills, self-starter, critical thinker, able to operate with autonomy
