ProTech IT Solutions is Hiring an Office Manager/Bookkeeper Near White Plains, NY

We are one of the area’s top IT Managed Technology Services Firms and we’re looking for our next Office Manager/Bookkeeper to manage our office and maintain our financial records. We are seeking a motivated person with strong analytic skills, good communication abilities and most importantly, someone who is energetic and enjoys working in an entrepreneurial environment.

Location: White Plains NY

Job Type: Full-time

Qualifications

  • English fluently (Required)
  • BS degree in Finance or Accounting (Preferred).
  • Proven bookkeeping experience (minimum 3 years).
  • Office Management experience.
  • Excellent understanding of QuickBooks (minimum 3 years).
  • Strong experience with Excel (minimum 3 years).
  • Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills, be well organized, self-starter, and be able to work well on his/her own.
  • Customer service-oriented.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Managed Service Provider experience (Preferred).
  • Experience with ConnectWise (Preferred).

Job Description

  • This position includes the creation and analyzes of financial reports, processing accounts payable and receivable, and managing invoices and tax payments. The ideal candidate holds a Finance or Accounting degree and is familiar with QuickBooks and ConnectWise. The position also includes management of the office.

Responsibilities:

  • Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
  • Allocate and post financial transaction details to subsidiary books.
  • Conduct reconciliation of all accounts on regular routine basis.
  • Prepare financial reports through collection, analysis, and summarization of data.
  • Perform account receivable functions including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition.
  • Maintain internal control systems.
  • Send customer invoices for monthly service, projects and procurement.
  • Verify and prepare vendor bills and company checks for payment
  • Research and validate discrepancies and resolve customer billing issues
  • Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
  • Assist with budget preparation.
  • Assist with audits.
  • Work with external accountant.
  • Maintain complete filing system to support financial records.
  • Management of office including human resources.
