Senior Software Engineer (.NET)

Prosoft is seeking qualified candidates for a Senior Software Engineer role with our client in Louisville, Kentucky.

• This is a full-time, direct-hire position 
• This role offers a flexible hybrid remote schedule with 1-2 days in-office per week
• Our client is not able to provide applicants with work visas or sponsorship at this time
• This role is not open to C2C candidates

Responsibilities: 

• Design and develop new software applications and features, and enhance existing applications
• Work collaboratively as part of an Agile Scrum team to design and build robust technical solutions that solve complex business problems
• Work with other Software Engineers, Development Managers, and Team Leads to implement platforms and applications
• Build scalable applications, utilize complex data, write APIs, etc.
• Maintain best-practices and modern development standards
• Perform technical documentation, troubleshoot, and debug software as needed

Required Skills: 

• 5 years of software development experience
• Experience working with the following tools and technologies:
  • C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework, Web API, RESTful Web Services, MVC
  • JavaScript, TypeScript, and either Vue.js, React, or Angular 2
  • MS SQL Server using SQL and T-SQL

• Experience with cloud technologies like AWS or Azure 
• Experience with various unit testing frameworks, Test-Driven Development (TDD), Integration Testing, etc. 
• Supporting and maintaining existing applications and developing new features
• Effective collaboration skills with various business and IT stakeholders

Desired Skills (Not Required): 

• Experience with Node.js
• Experience with mobile application development using cross-browser frameworks like Ionic, Flutter, React Native, NativeScript, etc.
• Experience with CI/CD practices
