Provide services and support as a Nuclear Design Inspections (Technical Support Specialist) in the Nuclear and Environmental Management Industry Sector focussing on Risk Management Solutions for clients such as U.S. NRC - HQ Acquisition Management Division (NRC) | The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Located In CONUS - Washington, DC and across the Mid-Atlantic region Region.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Technical Support Specialists provide a range of technical assistance, which may include equipment setup, data collection, and logistics support for inspections. Technical Support Specialists play a vital role in this project by setting up and maintaining the equipment, tools, and measurement devices essential for inspections. They are responsible for providing logistics support, which includes arranging transportation and facilitating access to inspection sites. Data collection, organization, and management during inspections are key functions of this role. Support for technical experts in various domains, such as nuclear engineering and mechanical engineering, is also part of their responsibilities. They contribute to the documentation and reporting of inspection findings and observations, ensuring a comprehensive record of the inspection process.
